Hi Basj Can you confirm you tested on Windows 11 with dual monitors as your initial post suggested you were still using Windows 10 and only had Windows 11 in a VM? If you get a chance to read my post above, is it worth me starting a separate thread or submitting a support ticket if it isn’t related? Just to chip in, I've been trying to narrow down why Explorer hangs whenever I activate my second monitor and currently Deskscapes 11 is the prime suspect. Normally I run single monitor with static JPG as a wallpaper but when I change Display Settings \ Multi-monitor the second monitor comes on but Explorer hangs (black desktop). I've got Start11, Fences 6 (currently using the beta), and Deskscapes 11, and removing Deskscapes 11 fixes the problem - I can activate and deactivate

Often when I open the start menu program items are not populuated in the left column (Modern Style) which should show pinned and Most Recently used programs. The "worrying" part was the appearance of "82.209.79.66" and "91.209.79.66" embedded in the hostname part of the URL rather than something obvious like ftp.stardock.com etc. OK so sounds like Stardock use telnetww as their hosting provider and the numbers are just coincidence ? Long time Stardock user here (+18 years) I was trying to understand why ObjectDesktop 4.1.7342.25505 (current version which is over three years old) is constantly prompting to upgrade my installed version of Fences 4.1.0.6 to 4.10.6 (which is obviously just a minor error in the version parsing or embedded version number in the EXE) so I decided to trace network traffic from ObjectDesktopManager to find out where it gets the list of available software updates from. Just to clarify I upgraded using ODM, the correct version 4.10.6 was installed successfully but doesn't seem to be setting the current installed version data to 4.10.6 - ODM still thinks a previous version is installed (or is getting confused that 4.10 is less than 4.9) so is currently flagging that an upgrade is available. Not a big issue and thanks for letting me known ODM needs some work.

New problem here. Object Desktop shows Fences needs updating even though I've now updated and rebooted twice. The new version 4.10.6 is successfully installed - it's just that Object Desktop updater hasn't registered the fact.

With Start10, if you began to enter a directory path into the search box it would begin to display autocompletions, eventually showing the files in a directory to launch. In Start11 this is no longer happening, although if you type a valid directory e.g. "c:\users" it does launch Windows Explorer as expected with that being the current directory. In case anyone is seeing DWM.EXE crashes on Windows 10 2004 whilst right-clicking a desktop icon in a fence, I found that if you disable "Let Deskscape take over Fences 3 background blurring" on Deskscapes settings Advanced tab, it seems to fix it. Whether it's a Windows 10 problem, an nVidia problem or a Stardock problem (never ! :-) ), I hope this is of some use to anyone else with a similar problem

Installed the Start 10 beta and noticed that the MRU enties for apps (like recent Excel sheets or Remote Desktop hosts) no long work. If you pick the app it works, but if you open the MRU list next to it and select one of those nothing happens at all. Reverting to 1.80d restores the functionality. Edit: something wrong with my PC not DS10 - sorry. MPG video files don’t play when double clicked - which opens the W10 universal app “Film & TV” giving the same missing codec error. I’ve tried downloading the MS MPEG2 codec app from the Windows store and uninstalling LAV and reinstalling (latest version). MPG plays fine in both Window Media Player and graphedt (which show MS DTV codec being used). So problem is at my end. If anyone
