I want to update my password and every time I try, the website pops up an 'HTTP Error Internal Service Error' box. Sometimes there's a 'PROCESSING' box prior to the error box, other times there's no 'Processing' at all and it goes straight to the 'HTTP Error' box. I've tried multiple browsers and multiple computers/devices. I would like to be able to update my password. Any assistance in resolving this would be appreciated.
From memory there was a October expirey on the Beta, maybe that wasn't removed. I rolled back both computers to yesterday to restart te Stardock Multiplicity service, and it is running fine.
Okay, both of my machines that aren't working (the win7 and XP) had the Beta installed, although I fully uninstalled the beta and installed the 'official' release (not just an 'upgrade' install) as soon as M2 was out

I wonder if that's related to my issue. M2 starts fine on my primary machine (Win8) but on my secondary machines (win7 and XP), it won't run at all.

Two things. Where can we see the changelog for the new beta update? I'm probably overlooking it somewhere but I can't find it. Also, should we do a fresh install (uninstall 1.80 first) or run 1.90 as an update? Thanks.

I'm not seeing that issue. The MP2 beta does show the correct IP address is on the XP machine and the machine name if I bring up the MP2 window from the system tray. As I mentioned in my other thread, 1.26 worked fine with the XP machine. MP2 also works fine if I turn the XP firewall off. With the XP firewall on, that's when the machine suddenly turns invisible, even disconnecting an already established connection.

I had to turn *off* the XP firewall. It looked like there was a rule added, plus I added a second one myself. It was no-go until I turned the firewall completely off. It's the stock XP firewall. It's a computer I can't install another firewall on, as well, so I have no choice. So, with the firewall off, M2 works perfectly. With the firewall on, it can't see or be seen by other computers with M2.

I have Multiplicity 2 on my two Win7 machines and an XP machine. The XP machine cannot be seen or see the other two computers (either as a secondary machine or a primary machine). It worked fine with Multiplicity 1.26. The XP machine's firewall is set to allow Multiplicity 2 through (as a program, no matter the ports), the same way Multiplicity 1.26 was set up. The two Win7 machines work with no problems at all. Other programs (like Sp

Seriously. The game is in Beta testing. Everything is subject to change, and all the major kinks need to be worked out and balance passes done now so the game doesn't 'suddenly change' after it goes live. If you're not sure what a Beta Test is (and it seems that way), then its probably best just to wait until the game goes live before installing it.

Whenever I start GalCiv2 TotA, I get a blank screen. No sound, no videos, and I eventually have to alt-tab to bring up the task manager to close the screen. The game did run under Vista 64 bit. Any ideas on what I should try? Win7 64 bit home premium, nVidia 280 video cards.

Possible bug. Fences doesn't work when Deskscapes are running on Windows 7 64 bit. Fences works fine as long as there's no Dream running, but doesn't work when there is.

Did a fresh install of my GalCiv2 and DA, and now, when I open the game, none of the buttons display anything, nor do any of the menus. It's all blank. I installed the fonts manually into my font folder, with no change. Running Windows Vista. The game was working under vista, but now it's not.

Getting the error message: Module Request Failed: The module you have requested is no longer available. when trying to download the new GC2:DA version (1.6) and the new Heightmaps. Changed the server, refreshed XML data. Any suggestions?

Under WB5, when I open my task manager (ctrl+alt+del), I don't have access to any tabs. It opens (thankfully) on the process tab, but I can't access any of the other tabs. What do I have to disable in the Per Application settings to get the task manager to show properly? (WinXP Pro SP2, NVidia 6600 GT, WB5)
