I kind of like the old Master of Orion 2 model where you keep researching tech and it keeps reducing the size of ship components, so you can really pack stuff in there after a while.
I agree with this. It needs a setting to shut off the queue. So far I find I'm spending more time fighting with the construction orders than doing anything else. It would be ok in the later game to turn it on, but really at the beginning this is just getting on my nerves telling it not to make things I don't require right now. Its not so great to remember to shut it off individually for each base. It needs a general on and general off switch. This is a new ga
