I'm on windows 10 and use OldNewExplorer to have it as close to windows 7 as possible. Is there a way to change this 'Open' icon from the bland flat windows 10 look using iconpackager? It's really an eye sore. Attached pic shows which icon I mean. thanks

I want to be able to shrink down the gap between these icons a little, mainly so they can all fit on the size of my monitor. The gap I'm talking about is: Can this be done with a simply reg edit/tweak? thanks
Thanks. I'll give it a try when I reinstall fresh windows on my test machine. Is it possible to add some reg edit to make Start10 have a custom transparency to bypass the low 62% limit? Cheers
In Win10, no matter what I do in Start11 settings the start menu always has the hard acrylic blue and I can't get the more aero-like blur as in Start10-called Normal blur. After playing around with all the default icons, I can't find a way to make folders in windows 10 look like classic windows 7, including displaying the folder thumbnail preview. I'm using the icon from my windows 7 imageres.dll and have tried changing the Closed, Open, Live Back, Front, & Data options but no luck. Here is what I want the core folders to look like in any state (empty, not empty, and showing the set thumbnail preview). This is an empty folder af
