Hello Basj Thanks for your fast answer. All steps you described are clear. But I have the problem to uninstall fences 4. The uninstall procedure can only work properly with non active fences task. I can't find a process-id of stardock fences 4 in the task manager to kill the process. I've also deactivated the 2 entries in the task scheduler. Fences starts again after every reboot. Thanks in advance

I have upgraded Fences 4 to Fences 6 for a W10 installation that runs under Parallels on an iMac. I didn't want to loose my Fences 4. That's why I installed Fences 6 over Fences 4 without deinstallation. The update process showed no problems. After restarting W10 as the last step of installation W10 shoot down but did not resume properly. There was only a black screen without any function or login window. Fortunately I had a Parallels snapshot available and I set W10 back to this snapshot and
