Thanks for getting back. No, following your instructions doesn't fix the problem sorry. I've rolled the system back a week and normality has been restored. It may well be that the problem was user profile corruption of some sort and not Fences. Not clear what could have caused this but possibly not worth pursuing. Stephen

Apologies, I should have added that I am running Fences 6.0 on Windows 11 Pro 25H2. I also have Start11 and Deskscapes installed. The last Windows Update was a week ago. TIA, Stephen
This morning, Fences suddenly messed up my icons. Half of them have disappeared from fences and are jumbled up on the desktop. At random the desktop icons start flashing. I'm unaware of any changes to the PC. Restoring a backup did nothing, nor did restarting the PC. Everything was working correctly last night. Before I roll back the whole operating system, is this a known problem? Will reinstalling Fences correct the issue? I really don't want to have to reorganise all my desktop ico
I suspect I am having problems with my Windows user account profile and would like to create a new Windows user account. Is it possible to restore my Fences layout to this different account's desktop? All files are stored in a common (OneDrive) area and the programs installed for all users, so the icons should all work (hopefully). I have current backups/snapshots. How do I do this? Are there any gotchas to look out for? Thanks, Stephen
