Hi again, not in a hurry. don't worry! I've opened Icondeveloper several times today and all worked fine. Answering the kind suggestions from BigDogBigFeet, I must state that: - AV (Windows Defender) is not detecting .BIN files as a menace in any way - ProgramData folder in my System is visible and unprotected, I can interact freely with it. Just to be in the safe side, I've instructed BoostSpeed for ignoring ProgramData/Stardock folder: I am having another trouble wit

Well, days have passed and I must apologize for not showing off here way before. I am just using Icondeveloper right now, and it still "loses" its registration. When I launch the program, it prompts for the key. I provide it, and a .bin file is created on Stardock ProgramData folder. On next execution, Icondeveloper asks again for the key. I don't know what to think: I've been using the program under Windows 10 during a lot of time, and never had a trouble.

Oh, excuse me. These folders are located on ProgramData, just checked it. And also are empty, that's curious. Registered again the progran and a .bin file appeared on it. Will keep it monitored. I have to leave now, but I'll check on next restart.

This is what I found at AppData folder. ShadowFX was uninstalled this morning: all three folders are empty, I've just checked it. Should I remove them?

Hi and hello again: No luck, I am having same trouble. I installed ShadowFX again and I just uninstalled it, since it asked for activation every time computer restarts, this is annoying. And Icondeveloper keeps asking me for the activation key every 2-3 runs. No key, no working program. I've been using this software for so many years, and I never encountered any trouble. Only changes on my setup I can think of are a change of Internet router (don't think has nothing to do), using Wind

Thanks a lot for the elegant and quick solution, I am certainly impressed. For now, Icondeveloper Works as intended after activating it. Allow me please some more testing to be sure all is OK. Apart from that, you have the gratitude of a senior Stardock user.

Sorry if I extended myself a lot, but this is annoying me a lot. Tried your suggestion, and no difference was spotted. I open Icondeveloper, it asks for serial. If I provide it, the program works normally until next execution, when it asks again for serial. I am sure antivirus (I use Microsoft one) is not the culprit. This happens too with ShadowFX, I had to uninstall it, but I don't want to lose Icondeveloper. For what I've learned the hard way, each activation counts. BTW, Icondevel

Here's a seasoned Stardock user who's having trouble after so many years. A couple of months ago, some of the Stardock programs I used under Windows 10 "forgot" their license number. This forced me to uninstall Start10 and ShadowFX, and only kept Icondeveloper, because is a very important software for me. I asked from Stardock a e-mail with all my licenses (user e-mail {Email Removed} ), and I had to have it handy
