I had a similar problem with it, but nothing THAT serious. It was running fine until I tried to make my own trashcan, but then it died. My computer was fine, but no matter what I did when trying to open DX, it would say "Desktop X did not close properly..." blah blah blah. Whatever I choose, it just ties up my machine. Even after completely erasing the DesktopX folder from my computer and re-instaling, it doesn't work. I was really disapointed, bu

Win Xp SP2,and I don't know what version of Desktop X it was. Do you think that if I install the latest, the problem will go away?

I installed DesktopX and was outstanded!!! I immediately went and downloaded all sorts of skins, but everyonce in a while, it would crash (ex. animated wallpapers). I deleted those and went around happilly importing all of my favorite images into objects. When I decided to do my theme squeakers-like (see my skins), I needed to make a trashcan. I found a script from another one, changed out the images, tested it, and I could never use DesktopX again

Ok, I recently got the free version of Desktop X and have been amazed with what all of these authors can do! (has anyone checked out frogboy's skin page recently?) I had also had the free version of ObjectDock and was quite satisfied. I have been thinking lately that it would be cool if someone made a widget emulating the ObjectDock. I am not very good with making my own skins, so I have no hope of helping out with it, but it would be nice if someon
