Yes but it took me 30+ mins to figure out what the issue was. I changed settings not to use the IP address. Probably will avoid setting the use of IP addresses if the device is not using a hard coded IP. Whether it will work properly the next time I need it to work is debatable.

This bleeping issue is happening again. I have no keyboard use on the computer with the dummy HDMI adapter. When the password field has focus, clicking on the other account on the login screen does nothing. The keyboard is useless. None of the keys work. The IP address changed. Once I saved the configuration information, the Multiplicity saved the changes, I regained the use of the mouse and keyboard. The software really needs to indicate that it can not connect,

As I indicated in my initial post, I followed all the suggestions. Multiplicity was trying to connect via the remote machine;'s IP address. I had tried disabling IPV6. The encryption key was the same on both computers, as was the password. Both computers were using the LAN here and both had the network configured as Private. Only after rebooting the remote computer after it installed a MS update did the connection work. This is not the first time this inability to connect

Today I wanted to use the KVM on a system on the same network. The password and the encryption has not changed. I made sure of that because when I attempted to connect to it I got the following. I have no idea why this software is having issues. It is using the IP address to connect to the Ryzen2700 and that is the remote machine's IP address. I winded up just walking over to the machine and doing what I needed to do on it. Both computers are Windows11 Pro. Both are

Using Multiplicyt 4.01 Pro and had no problems connecting to a Win11 23H2 system via KVM mode. Did the June Tues updates and rebooted. Unable to connect to the remote machine via KVM. Verified IP address and subnet same as my computer. I rebooted the problem computer a second time and was able to connect without any issue. Shrugs.
If at all possible for a test. If it had an actual monitor connected to a headless one, does it then function as expected? Sean Drohan Stardock Product Lifecycle Manager
I do not have a spare monitor capable of 2560x1440 but I do have one that can do 1920x1080. So I lowered the resolution on my main computer with the 27" monitor to 1920x1080, and hooked up the monitor to the remote computer. It
If you click on the sprocket for any given KVM connection, does the 'Adjust for DPI differences' or any other setting there help resolve this? Sean Drohan Stardock Product Lifecycle Manager
Adjust for DPI differences makes no difference. Nor does any of the other options that I can see. Both the remote screen and the Multiplicity computer screen resolutions are identical. 2560x1440 on a 27" monitor. <

Well it is now January 6th and I am still struggling with this. I had the misfortune of having to minimize the remote window for the computer so that I could get back to my own computer screen. When I tried to maximize the remote computer screen Multiplicity would NOT hide the top bar and it appeared that the taskbar was double height. The result was that none of the lower screen clicks on the remote computer were registering at the proper location on the remote computer. They were a row abov

Using two Windows10 22H2 computers. Main computer is using dual monitors wth main monitor at 2560x1440 on 27" monitor. Remote computer is headless. I has no mouse or keyboard connected and using a HDMI dummy plug running at 2560x1440 resolution as well. When I connect to the remote computer I have to put Multiplicity 4 in full screen mode for all the icons on the remote computer to be clickable. If I do not and MC is using the vertical scroll bar to move the remote desktop up an

1. I also discovered a worse problem. The remote computer when powered up and I use Multiplicity in KVM mode to connect to it all I get is a black screen at what is the the lock screen of the remote computer. I can not get the lock screen to display any graphics or the password field. I have to type blindly the login password and hopefully do not make a typing mistake. 2. I have also been having mouse cursor issues where I lose the mouse cursor entirely when moving the mou

This installation was not seamless. I had been using Multiplicity 3 in seamless mode and decided to upgrade to Multiplicity 4 for its KVM ability. I uninstalled Multiplicity3 off both machines and rebooted both of them. I installed and activated MUltiplicty 4 Pro on the main/master computer Win10 22H2 19045.5247 and said I wanted to use KVM mode. Then I went over to the other machine and installed Multiplicity 4. At no time do I remember it asking what mode I wanted the computer to op
