I like Fireworks MX but MX 2004 is the new one. I am going to get it when I can afford it. If you are a student you can get Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash (MX 2004 of all) and Freehand MXa (the 2004 version of Freehand) all by Macromedia for around 300 bucks. If you want to go more mainstream try PSP but with Fireworks you can edit more things but it is harder to use but works better than photoshop on a slower system and also lets you easily create thigns for the web and use the pen tool to cre

Everyone go to every computer, library, and ip address variable you cna find and vote from each one. Lets make it 95 like some crap freeware programs from individuals. When companies make programs no one likes them but if an individual is put as the creator it is loved. People dont liek companies. Not even one run by individuals whoactually interact and work directly with their customers. To those people who hate companies like that I say Screw them! I am going to go and vote right now. I also w
Congratulations, seems to me like preparation for the new Wincustomize
Congrats to both!
Awesome, is it going to be like the forums on the political machine website?
The Skins Factory made sins to match it, the Metallica series, one requirement, you have to buy the rig.
Someone forgot about Fun! I think you must be Santorum
Hey post what you want in a DX checkbook at the desktopx forums someone might be able to make it. HTTP://joedoug.com/dxforums/
Strategy games rule I love them. I dont care if it is a RTS (real time strategy) or TBS (Turned based strategy). I sitll sometimes play The Corporate Macine when I get a chance and I usually only play strategy games, only FPS (first person shooter) that I have played is RTCW: Enemy Territory
Well here is the information I know of. Developer: Stardock Name: The Political Machine Publisher: Ubisoft You can preorder online on the main page just go and preorder, you save five dollars and get it sent to you on CD. Release should be sometime in Summer (not within the next few weeks I dont think). Hope this helps.
sign on? What do you mean? Do you mean sign-up. I cant afford it , dang.
Hey do Object Desktop Subscribers who also subscribe to Wincustomize get the beta I really want it but I cant afford it right now, I can get bugs too if there are many or even very few and I often realize spelling mistakes and sentences that don't make sense. Please tell us thanks.
UbiSoft has had deals with Stardock before so not a huge surprise to me but a little surprise. It seems like the French are taking over the US, they have hte rights to America's Army commercial game and now they publish the political machine (based on the US) developed by Stardock.
How long until release, I wnat to know if I should try to subscribe to drengin.net
Don't worry it is likely becuase ti is still in Beta. Hope that helps to clarify if not then maybe you'll have to wait for Brad to answer. Oh Hey TheGreenReaper you came over here from WC for a little bit too huh?
Thanks for clarifying. Also if you check back is this a precursor to what will be used in the future of Wincustomize? I see you can choose a picture or at least there is a placeholder for it. I posted in response to this congratulating you over at WC if you get a chance to check there.
Awesome! This game is getting TONS of press, I can't wait to see it in PC Gamer.
WIRED, the technology magazine has a review of the Political Machine in the Games section of WIRED's PLAY reviews. The paragraph by Will Tuttle can be found on page 68 of the June 2004 issue of WIRED. The text is very descriptive and reads as follows. Think you know more than the policy wonks? Here's a chance to run your own presidential campaign. This strategy game is lifted straight from the spinmeisters inside the Betlway: You raise money, craft ads, do the news shows, take poll-t
Very Well said and I think that maybe if people could pay monthly ot havel ike 200mb download cap or osmething that might work. I also want to say that I dont think 20 bucks is a lot. I paid for it right when I got the site for the first time I think that more people should do that. Support the skinning community. I know how much bandwith is and it is expensive maybe if people had a bandwith cost meter they could get a better idea of how much it costs.
Im here, and if you do not know I am also the admin at the DesktopX Project.
