Two things I miss about CursorFX vs CursorXP... I know this is still a beta version, but... "if you don't cry, you won't get breast" (as would my Grandma say... ;) ) Are you Stardock Developers planning to implement some of the CXP abilities I miss the most : * Sound effects * Hiding mouse cursor when typing (this was VERY convenient !!) Thanks !
PaulEric
I miss the sound effects we could add in CursorXP... Is there anything planned about it in CFX ? ;) ;) ;)
Same here : cursor is randomly going under Windows' right-click menus... (Using Windows XP SP2)
Same problem here... But in addition, CFX doesn't even appear in the list (under "Misc") although it appears in the list for registering apps... For the record : I also tried to refresh XML data... no results ; then uninstalled SDC and reinstalled it... no results either. Well... let's wait and see ;) (Stardock offices will be closed until 2008/01/02)
Same here... and it's really annoying !! I'm using version 1.30.005 of WCTray. A fe
I'm using version 1.30.005 of WCTray. A few weeks ago it started messing up : At first it started being slower and slower when I open the preview window, sucking up to 100% of my resources for at least 1 minute before showing anything, and the tray icon wouldn't blink anymore when updates are found. Then it started crashing more and more often... Now it won't display ANY thumbnail for new additions. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/w
Thanks for answering ! If I get it right, all I have to do is design my skin as one single image and then "cut it into pieces" to make them fit into a skin through SS, right ?
I can see an "Open template image" command in SS menu... Anyone can tell me what Template images are and their specifications ? How to use them ? Thanks in advance !
That's right !
Thanks for your answer, Mike ! Do you think it will be long ? I miss these features...
I was not speaking about WB icon in SysTray, but of the ability to send any window's icon there. This is possible with WB4 skins (even when running WB5) but not with WB5 skins.
The strange thing is that I don't have any problem with "old" (= WB4) skins. It only occurs with per pixel skins... Therefore it doesn't seem to belong to WB5, but with per pixel skins. Any clue ? BTW : I'm running WB5 latest beta and Windows XP SP2. Thanks - Paul-Eric
This is it... works fine with non per pixel skins, but doesn't with the new ones Thanks for replying !
I haven't read that, but... does anyone notice that the sounds for the buttons (minimize, restore, close, etc.) doesn't work with the per pixel borders skins? Same here... in addition, the "minimize to systray" with titlebar minimize button doesn't work with per pixel skins... <img src="http://images
The "minimize to systray" function doesn't seem to work on Alpha skins... Tried with "5impleAlpha", "Arrow" and "Aura" skins... all the same. This works with non "alpha" skins though. Same problem with titlebar button sound effects... Is all this normal ? Is it going to be fixed later ? I'm looking forward to Rundll32 fix, as many people here... This version rocks anyway ! <img src="smiles/Congrats.gi

Seems to be back to normal by now !!!
I don't know if anyone has the same problem, but WC tray is not getting any updates from the site... Seems not to find any new or updated skins (:( (:( :SNIFF!: :SNIFF!:
God, this version of the site really s@#ks !!!!!!!!! Takes ages to load a simple page. Guys, did you really HAVE TO commit this ??????
cross fingers...
Yeah ! I meant that it's possible to use alpha transparency for objects in DX, not for skinning windows...
That's sad ! (even though it's possible with DX)
Thanks for your answer ! Too bad... I need full alpha transparency for what I want to do. Let's hope they will soon make this possible
I was wondering if there is any possibility to make window frames transparent... I mean : not all the window, but just the frame. (see example picture of what I want) I tried to use transparent TGA/PNG files instead of BMP in SkinStudio, but this doesn't work : a white background is always added. Any clue about how to perform this...?
if you have both WC Browser and SDC, you can update Skins in both and it solves the problem on it's own Very handy...! I have the same problem and I regret the good old version ! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sad.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
