When I hover over a pinned icon the thumbnail appears over the search bar. If you get enough folders open you can sometimes get the mouse far enough to the left to click on the thumbnail. Not sure when or where it started as i installed bunches after the purchase of object desktop. at first it reappeared with a double click but now it seems to have completely disappeared. perhaps it move to one of those countries where disappearing is a way of life.
