The serial you got when you purchased it should work. If it's old, the subscription may be up, but you should still be able to register to version you paid for (including any updates during an active subscription) When I had to reformat a while back, I lost Webblinds which came with my first ODNT subscription - it not supported anymore and didn't show up when I reinstalled SDC and entered my serial for ODNT. I contacted sales and asked about webblinds and they sent me a l

open WindowBlinds configuration, click system information on the left, copy all the info that shows up and paste it here.
Support enter your email and they will send serial(s) to what you purchased
Stardock Central register your serial(s) - either in tool or click down at the bottom right in SDC
You can email it to your friend If your file is just a DesktopX theme, then it doesn't need to be a suite it needs to be .dxtheme If you file contains other than desktopx, then it should be a .suite Your friend can get and install Theme Manager to apply the .suite Your friend will need the other software to go with components of your suite (CursorXP, IconPackager, Windowblinds, etc) other than Desk
*bump* (I know somebody knows what that means) in the mean time... uninstall, reboot, try a fresh download/install
Sir Z's right most if not all desktop themes at WC were created either with Standard or Pro - those of us using them have DTX installed
I think you mean Enterprise I'm not quite sure (you might want to contact sales and ask) but I'm guessing what you get with the licenses is possibly 50 serials generated - each can only be used once. that's just a guess with pro you can create entire desktops, but the end users will need dtx installed
if you have Stardock Central - try reinstalling the tray button
(couldn't respond to your 'how' query, just now got to work)
"DesktopX Enterprise edition ($499) {it comes with 50 liceses for DX client}." It means: with the Standard version you can create objects (intended user's pc needs desktopx installed and running on their computer) or widgets (intended user's pc needs desktopx installed but not necessarily running) with the Pro version you can
click on my computer click 'view system information' in the left panel then the 'advanced' tab then 'settings' in 'performance' in the 'visual effects' tab, scroll down and check "use drop shadows for icon lablel" {down at the bottom of the list}
Yes the freewares are available - via the 'software' tab as mentioned or via the links in the Description box at each gallery. I use the free Object Dock - tabs confuse me You can also download them from here the download links for CursorXP and Object Dock will take you to the free versions
Click sites - search for Corky_O, go to his site. He has a tutorial on archiving with SDC which would be the easiest way to copy over.
WB does year/month/day as it is the only way to show the dates in a non confusing way. It's not the order of the date that throws me - it's comparing release date with wb sys info with history
Hey Sir B., yep uncheck show pre-release and 5.01 shows June 10 2006, with the dates Koa pasted above for 5.01, looks like they tested it for about 3 months before releasing it. it confuses me when they do that turning of itallics....now<
did it download as a .ip or .zip with a .ip inside? can't download to check i usually just right click the .ip and open with icon packager
Hey Sir B., I think you are looking at the dates backwards, they are 3/whatever/06. that I know could a sworn in SDC when I uncheck show pre release it shows 5.01.006 availabe with a june 2006 date. thought i saw that at the history page too not at home to check
I'm also using 5.01.006 SuperK, open SDC and click the history for WB - 5.01.006 dates are in June Your dates look off
