If you wanted results on your post you just should've mentioned your unhappy throbber in the title got a point... that one did generate a few
clear the widget/gadget cache then start it. if it's a widget - you should be able to switch to builder mode, right click on it, get into properties and lock the movement (ctrl+drag to move it around after)

SD has a utility to essentially ZAP all stardock products so you can start fresh. umm... The Zapper?
I'm by no means an expert but it seems you have tried everything with SDC Haven't tried an uninstall/fresh reinstall of SDC yet - waiting to find out if I need to unload/uninstall any apps first. Is there a chance it's not connected to those programs, maybe something like a Trojan or Virus? Don't really think that's it - I do regular scans and such. I don know every once in a while SDC will glitch -

Reply #9 I forgot to check SDC to see if there were any updates and now I'm at work. I just unchecked the daylight saving boxe (after right clicking the clock in the systray) then set the time maually - then they match - but it will screwup the outlook appointments.
The only thing tho is that my subscription to wincustomize has expired, so I dont think im able to reload what I will lose... Archive everything then copy the archive folder to a disk. Then all you have to do is install SDC then use it to restore the archives from the disk. Corky_O has a tutorial on it on his Dreams Under Construction - WC site, but I can't get you a link to it from here.
I've had it disappear every once in a while - couldn't tell if maybe it's a firefox issue (has it's own method of skinning) or a graphics conflict (had WB running with CXP, ODfree, Rainlendar)

right click DTX systray icon > switch to buider mode right click on the theme system tray > properties that's as far as I can go (not at home and my short term's shot) going through the varios property options on the systray you should find one concerning icon spacing etc - those are the ones I played with and got the tray back up. once you get the tray going don't forget to save the theme, then switch back to the client mode. right click your bar on the left and check 'always on top' - if it's already checked uncheck then recheck

I've seen some posts revived that were over 2-3 yrs since the last activity. some by bots, some by noobs
