User pane animation prob.

animation begins on the wrong frame

It will work perfectly upon first apply...from then on it starts on the last frame and 'flashes' to the beginning. It sometimes skips several of the first few frames and it never uses the 0 frame, wont animate using that as first frame.(waste of a frame)

A suggestion...a delay setting before beginning the animation...Start menu has barely drawn and the animation is already zipping along...ruins the effect.

I want the animation to start smoothly and rise up and stop.(it does stop)

Thanks for your time.

Dunno if it helps but you could add 10 frames or so to the beginning of the animation to give it a delay.

Thought of that and did add 2...but you run out of frames pretty quick on a user pane...I think the limit is 8500 pixels.

Delay between cycles isnt working either.

I'm working on an animated start button. It is set to animate only once. That goes OK but it defaults back to the normal state rather than the pressed state when finished animating. This will not do.
Animated start panels and buttons have always been a little sloppy. I am remembering now why I stopped animating things.

Some new info...delay started working...no reason,just did.

0 frame and 1 frame NEVER displays during animation unless a delay has been set between cycles...then it rest on frame 1.(counter intuitive...why not rest on last frame?)

Animation cycle still begins on the last frame visible when the menu was closed(not the first set in SKS.Then it goes immediately to the first assigned frame rather than just continueing forward.Result is a really buggery start...then animates normally(always skipping frame 0)

This has been its behavior since I can remember...Stardock,these are the kind of issues that drive us bonkers because they never get addressed...please help us get rid of some of the long standind buggets.
