If you slow the vids right down the cpu/gpu seems pretty reasonable, at least on my rig. I run that vid on 2 x 4k monitors, one in landscape, one in portrait. With all windows minimised, and maximum rendering going on at 0.25% speed, there's 4% GPU usage on each DSHost process, CPU usage shows 0.1% on each process. Running at 2x speed, GPU goes up to about 30% each process, cpu is about 6% each process, so definitely a lot more resource hungry when sped up. But those figures also d

For anyone out there running a 4k or better resolution, here is a gorgeous 2 hour Electric Sheep video that works well with DeskScapes. Big download (40gb), but it's the coolest DeskScape that I've come across. The guy that made this spent months of render time on a dedicated rig to produce this output. If anyone knows of anything else out there in super-high res, why not post in this thread and lets see what else is out there? Enjoy!
PLEASE test that with 3.12 (the beta) as soon a possible and report back on this thread please: https://forums.stardock.com/506115/page/2/#3813847
Have given it a go, seems to work as designed using the auto-hide feature / double click to show or hide icons, so no issues to report.
You can set something as a screensaver from the apply background button. It is a drop down and on the right hand side is the option to apply as a screensaver.
Roger. It works, but on dual monitors will just play my rendered video on the Primary (1) monitor. I know I'm asking a lot but if there were a way to set a separate screensaver for each monitor I would be in heaven [e digicons][/e] As
Seems to work at least as good as v10 in my limited testing. However I have same issue in 11 that I did 10 - my desktop icons and fences often vanish from the desktop while DeskScapes is running. They can reappear by right clicking and dragging on the desktop (engaging fences), or right-clicking and selecting "refresh", but won't reappear with a simple right-click. (I havent yet tried this with the new Fences beta version, however) Also, has the screensaver functionality been removed
I am running Deskscapes 10. With the setting to pause deskscapes on maximised application - only pause monitors that match the above rule. It doesn't seem to work. If I maximise a window on monitor 1, it pauses monitor 2, but won't pause monitor 2 when an application is maximised on monitor 2. Monitor 1 is in landscape, and monitor 2 in portrait mode. Each monitor is set to run a different video, since Deskscapes can't rotate videos to accommodate portrait monitors. If that feature was
Hi, I think a really handy feature that could be added to groupy is to be able to arrange or tile the windows belonging to a group. So for example, I could have a group with 2 different messaging apps laid out horizontally tiled side-by-side in the one group called "Messaging". Windows has pretty poor support for this sort of tiling functionality. You can use Win+Arrow (left/right) to snap an app to the left/right top/bottom of the screen, but even that support is broken on displays oriented
