Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.
I mean, the price to upgrade was modest, so I'm less angry now. But I would rather choose to upgrade than to have it install behind my back. Happily Fences 5 isn't doing this because I'm not paying that much money for fences and on subscription no less. Permanent pricing is exorbitant. I'd rather uninstall it altogether if it ever forced me to upgrade or pay.
100% sure. I just booted and it installed all new v2 without my consent. I do not have v1 onboard anymore it jsut asks for my product key. When I add my old one it says I: don't have v2 connected to my account.
I completely agree with this. I just started my computer today to find my purchased copy of start 11 has been removed and v2 installed. I am pretty livid. There was no warning - just boom. Everything gone. And now I need to purchase again? So angry.
