There always seems to be uninformed comments from someone, somewhere... Yeah, did you see the screenie of that guy's desktop? I think he's still living in '95

I get that problem as well, after playing games, and bizarrely enough when AOL explorer runs. By the looks of things, it may have something to do with apps making DirectX calls to draw on screen that is messing things up for WB (video -> DirectX, games -> DirectX 3D, AOL browser (non-standard GUI + tab preview overlay) -> DirectX, anyone see the pattern?) My card is a 5900XT.
Now all we need is the updated SKS so that I can come up with my follow up to MozillaXP (I noticed that I'm still credited under "Dark Phoenix" - old nic)
Ooops, I should have read the comments BEFORE I downloaded. My 5900XT no liken dis one! Try downloading again, the fix works great on my 5900XT...
It seems to work fine now Thanks!
If you have a nvidia card then please hold off on downloading WB5 for the next 15 mins or so. We believe we have a fix for the nvidia corruption problems which is currently being tested. I'm eagerly awaiting the fix. If it's possible, can you tell me what Forceware driver version you're testing it on
w00t! downloading NOW...
MS WinFX, Stardock WindowFX, this is gonna get confusing soon... MS seems to be riding roughshod all over Stardocks' product names and file formats
I'm really looking forward to the new WB beta. Brad, you might want to look into a new problem that has surfaced though, the MS WinFX framework (installed with Microsoft Max) messes up the .wba file association so that you can no longer automatically install WB skins. A pain in the neck, and I had to manually change the association back to WB...
I noticed this as well, I don't like how MS are messing with a file extension that has been around for years Brad, if you read this, MS are stepping on your toes...
no, the menubar background just doesn't skin at all, but the menu items do.
I've done a successful import! The most recent builds of skinstudio don't have a problem with the min/max/close buttons, and I've been doing a bit of tweaking to the start menu... I just need to do a bit more work on it, then I'll be ready to ask permission from Stefanka for release.
Thanks Neil, the update did the trick, all my other programs are being skinned as normal , but still baffled as to why IE7s' own menubar seems not to skin properly, even after the update... Just to clarify, everything else skins properly now except the menubar in IE7.
The problem is still there in 4.59d[b].002 (today's build)
This is also posted in the newsgroups, having installed IE7 beta 1, and then the WB update, I found that windowblinds no longer seems to skin the [ToolBarBackground] section for any skins on most of my programs, screenshot in shows the problem on IE7, explorer and SmartFTP. Funnily enough though, firefox and thunderbird seem to get skinned properly... Has anyone been able to duplicate this problem? <img src="http://dpx.aspfre
I heard a while ago that skinstudio was going to add support for firefox skins, and a firefox filter was spotted in the 4.5 release, although it didn't do anything. Does anyone know if it has been implemented yet? or if it's likely to be at any point soon?
