Watch your Pay Pal account.
I changed all my important passwords. I'm planning on changing unimportant passwords as well, but this all takes time and some sites make it very difficult. Paypal and eBay I'd have expected to be hit first, but they weren't, confirming my belief that it was through Pidgin that they got the passwords. Honestly, now that I think about it, I wonder if maybe the hole that allowed them to ge
why was you using a Keygen aint they for getting the SS #'s for programs that are pay to use Pirated? Why would RoadRunner tech support have an problem with your PC going through a router.
As far as the keygen... I know it is controversial, but if there are not sufficient demos of a program/game, I will use a keygen to try it out. I have been burned too many times buying something (especially from EA) and then finding it

My GMail password was stolen earlier today. Spent a bit of time trying to discern what happened, very little evidence. A couple of key points to note though about it which point me into a likely direction (and one program I won't ever be using again). Any "risky" software I've run lately (very little) I submitted executables to some online virus-scanners that check for virii/trojans using 30 or more different security programs and any suspects I could come up with came up c

(Yes this is correctly categorized as Politics... trust me, read on) Blasted English Degree. I can no longer enjoy just reading a news article anymore. Now I always notice when clueless authors use adjectives instead of adverbs. Such as this line: "facts and figures now come cheaper and faster than ever before" What is being modifie

I hope you realize that a book such as Liberal Fascism is just as filled with lies and half-truths as a book like Hostile Takeover is. Such books can make very persuasive arguments, but rarely are accurate reflections of reality.

I lurk here mostly... I post tech-related things here, and I have a personal blog for everything else. I thought about making this my primary blog home, but I have found that the atmosphere here is very anti-liberal.... Much as I respect Brad (Draginol, Froboy, etc), he is a bit uber-conservative and is rude and offensive about it - and a lot of the users pick up on this attitude to make this site not very open to open-minded intellectual disc

Your post has more meat than mine - and you were earlier too ... Seriously though, I only track this kind of thing as tech advisor to everyone I know. Myself, I never bought a standalone DVD player, and I don't even have a TV. When Blu-Ray gets cheap enough like DVD did that I could literally spend no extra and put one in my PC instead of a DVD, I will. But no standalone playe

What a lot of you guys are forgetting is that while a lot of us do run dual displays now (I disagree with Frogboy on this point, many gamers DO have dual displays), running games on dual monitors isn't as easy as running a second desktop. Considering most dual monitor systems are off a SINGLE video card (yes, I know some of you have dual 8800 (Super Duper Elite Plus ZZZTX)s, or whathavya, but most of us are on reasonable SINGLE video cards. The problem is when you enable the

http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/36093/118/ Toshiba has ceased production of HD-DVD and will soon be switching over to Blu-Ray thanks to a joint venture it hedged with Samsung. This leaves Microsoft as the only big name left with HD-DVD on the xBox 360 (thankfully as an external addon, not internal). Obviously, they'll have to come out with a Blu-Ray play

Why would I want the app that I spend 85% of my time in windows using to not be skinned? Yes, of course I can exclude FF in WB, but that is ... rather annoying to no skin applied. I already have it only skin titlebars on ff 2, but if I exclude it completely, I get the old win2k style windowframes which is barf. I'll stick to FF 2 and wait I suppose for Stardock to fix it since the mozilla folks are apparently ignoring the problem.

Beta 3 STILL does not work with windowblinds!! Are they mad? This is a serious issue, but apparently they're ignoring it. Is stardock going to do anything to fix the problem on the WB end?

Seriously, I can use the extra money very badly. I will rejoice to get it. However, were I to be asked to vote on it, I'd say NO REBATE to ANYONE. The problem with the U.S. right now is not that we've been overtaxed, but that we've overspent. Spending yet more money in such an irresponsible manner as this is incredibly ... irresponsible.

Well...if G4's site could actually stream video, I'd have watched the whole thing... Instead, I only suffered 3/4 of it. What I saw looked good... In other news, it sure would be nice to have an option on flash video to "BUFFER ALL" for those pesky websites that won't/can't provide enough per-user bandwidth to stream properly yet insist on trying to do so. I'd rather wait for the download to finish than have to pause repeatedly while the buffer on a tiny postage stamp video catches up d

Years later, and this problem persists. I decided recently to try RightClick, and it keeps corrupting my config. I've tried running it as administrator, etc, but it loses some of its submenus and actually recreates some of the default entries over and over.

It would be difficult to cull out some of what people think are "ugly" skins. Some of what I think is "ugly as carp" just made the top X lists of some posters on this thread. Right now I'm using StealthOS - which I'm sure others would dis. If the WB library were cut down to just a list of one person's favorites, then lots of good stuff would go by the wayside. I'd, for instance, like to see a Vista re-amp of ReGeeked, but I'm sure many folks would consider that just wacky.

Hmmm, you must be kidding us. Everybody knows that a software publisher who sends games out with CD Copy Protection will never succeed.
