Hi - any updates on this? I'd be happy to try out a beta version of a fix. I posted a similar issue a few weeks ago - https://forums.stardock.com/536822/page/1/ - and it's constantly frustrating because it does block my ability to click in the vertical taskbar.
It's irritating, but you can right click on the icon and it will pop the right option to open a new window

Adam, can you also have it auto-switch to a vertical text list of open window names instead of the image or is this a Windows more than Start11 thing? Windows 10 would switch between image to text which made it much easier to to switch between IMO........

I posted the same issue as the one in your last screenshot - I would prefer Wind10 method of the visuals stacking vertically instead of horizontally - if they get too tall, then turn them into a list - I don't know why they're covering the taskbar unless Start11 isn't factoring in the pixels being taken by the width of the taskbar and adjusting the frame for their pop-up......
(Despite these glitches, I can positively say that this new experimental vertical taskbar feature is the sole reason I bit the bullet and upgraded to Windows 11 ahead of the October deadline!) When I have a bunch of windows open on grouped icons (e.g. browser), when hovering over the icon, the width of the field (when there are a bunch), entirely covers the task bar instead of cutting off where the edge of the task bar is like everything else. I would think the overall pixel width would be reduced by however wide/slim you have set the task bar, but this seem to not be the case. I blacked out all of the open tabs, but that width is a problem because you cannot right click to open a

For time, I don't need to know AM/PM - either give us an option to eliminate that and/or use 24 hour time For date, either let me strip off the year, or just use 2 digit year. There are ways to modify it so that it allows the font size to increase (like you do for the icons by letting us bloat them up if we want to).

I do know how to adjust the bar, the problem is that I have to increase the width of the bar at least 50% from the most narrow/minimal width before the font size for the clock and time increase. There need to be options for the font/format specifically for the font so you don't have to increase the width of the taskbar more than you want just because the clock stays tiny.

Hello, The only reason I got Start11 was so I can keep my taskbar on the right side of the screen - which is mostly OK, but my date/time font is microscopic. The only way it becomes readable is if I make the taskbar stupidly wide, which I'm not going to do. The option for taskbar font only applies to the button/icon labels, so either it needs to be applicable to date/time as well or there needs to be a separate option to set date/time with its own font sizing.

New download 2.51 and I don't have any option to put the taskbar on the right or left - only top or bottom, but my co-worker does have it. Why would two people on the same build have different options and how can I get it to give me the vertical option, which is the only reason I would purchase this product.
Why would we delete extremely valuable client feedback? Sean Drohan Stardock Support Manager
I'm not trying to be argumentative, but many people have made the statement that this thread lingering out there for nearly 2 years with zero date, quarter, or year commitment even in the realm of existence provides zero reassurance that there even will BE a v4..... I appreciate your reading all of the posts, that
I wonder if Stardock could give us a general estimate of when Fences v4 might come.
Unfortunately, this is a question that is routinely asked and ambiguously at best responded to or flatly ignored. Someone at Stardock needs to put a list of what has or has not made the cut for v4 - if they're still taking suggestions/requests ~2 years after opening this thread, the likeliness of them releasing anything in the next few
out of the 11 pages of suggestions here, over 1 1/2 years, how many have been listened to and what %age have been added?
It would be great if Stardock didn't keep this thread going implying that there is no end in sight. I just have a hard time putting money into something that the company hasn't actually indicated has a delivery date. Hell, for all I can tell v4 will never be released and there are no plans to

I have been lurking for a while waiting to purchase the current version of Fences because it seems to have quite a few limitations. I don't want to find myself purchasing something that I am stuck with and cannot upgrade to the newer version if one is around the corner. While I understand that there is work being done, I have not seen anything mentioning any sort of planned release date/year for v4. You can upgrade something to the point that it can never be re
