The solution to this symptom was to full remove existing drivers and reinstall. However, this was with a AMD Vega card and used the built in video driver removal AMD includes in their driver. As is the case with Windows YMMV.

Yes, I have this. Sometimes it actually crashes. My buddy has the same problem. It occurs mostly on enormous maps. This problem has been ongoing sine we started playing the game this summer. It's a persistent problem for us. When I play on my own and it crashes I have to kill Steam client as well because it gives me an error. I wonder if Steam is the real problem? Then restart Steam, Ashes, Load Game, then finish the game. When it crashes

Heh, one of those classic questions. My buddy and I both have 32GBs in our systems and we have never seen Ashes use all of it, hovers around 12GB on an enourmosue map with 12 painful computers and the 2 of us with massive armies. The answer to your question is complicated, so for a gigabyte board that uses a T topology then 4 sticks is a great way to go, start with a good quality 2 stick kit and when you have more money add the second two.
