I would like the same feature. I was able to 'work around' by not using fences and use create folders on my desktop where I put shortcuts.

Fences crashes and I get the message "Fences has detected that Explorer was not closed properly..." I have tried reinstalling fences and the same issue happens again. Also I right clicked on the desktop and chose "Enable Fences" an it didn't work.
