currently artifacts can only be activated on the strategic map and provide a variety of buffs, surprises and interesting strategic choices in every play through. I thought this would also be a cool idea if it was added to the battle viewer. while the battle is progressing you could activate a charge at a certain point to change the tide of the battle. this type of feature would not ruin the pacing of the game because it is a single use action per battle. to limit this ability you could

Can you place the profile page of each civ somewhere in game? I was playing the Onyx hive for the first time and couldn't figure out why i was getting slow growth until i exited my game went to the new game menu and read on their profile page that they are silicon based and had no need for food but needed prometheon. maybe we could link that profile page in game in the diplomacy screen for example to make this more intuitive.

there could also be a sector that pops up with a dangerous technologically advanced malevolent civ that suddenly threatens the rest of the galaxy. or a technologically advanced benevolent civ that if you can convince them to like you will shower you with advanced techs and recources.

I think it would be interesting if new unpopulated bubble sectors would pop up mid game with brand new resources to encourage a second colony rush after unlocking more advanced slipstream tech

I think one of the reasons why you need something like a battle viewer is people who play this game love designing their own ships from scratch. If you don't reward the player for all their time spent creating these ships by displaying it in all its glory you remove the incentive to even use the ship design tool. Would it be possible for the devs to add a filter to only show planets, influence rings and ships on the map? When I'm engaged in a war there is too much information on the screen at once so it is difficult to see where my ships are or enemy ships. The ability to toggle the info on and off quickly would go a long way to add clarity to the user interface.

in my opinion playing this game always felt like playing a great board game (ie. chess), the other 4x games i usually spend my time with Endless Space 2 feels more like reading a great book and Stellaris like writing a great screen play. Of the 3 options i personally get the most satisfaction out of playing board games but also enjoy the other activities as well. Just happy to be able to scratch that itch where ever it may be. Thanks for providing me with countless hours of entertainment.

I was playing crusader kings 2 and was thinking it would be kind of nice if the citizens in gal civ 3 could develop traits. for example a Drengin citizen develops an appetite for eating rodents and would gain a bonus to food production if we declare war on the Snathi. or a Free Trandals female has fallen in love with the Terran Alliances Justin Beiber and wants you to raise diplomatic relations so they could be married, if successful citizen could gain a permanent diplomatic bonus with terran
