Check the "Control" section of the Start11v2 settings. Make sure they are set to open the Start11 menu. If the control is set to open the Start11 menu, then something is really wrong here. What happens if you just restart Explorer? Try resetting the the settings back to default. Go to "Settings and Backup" in the Start11 settings and click "Reset settings." If all else fails, try the Purge and reinstall process. <a href="https://forums.stardock.com/5

You can always change the icon before you pin the folder to the taskbar. You won't have to restart Explorer if you do this.
Try this link to purchase Start11v2: https://www.stardock.com/products/start11/#purchase You should get the screen below. Click "Get it Now" or if you have a license to Start11v1, click "Upgrade."
Btw, while many fear AI's misuse (for good reason), I do not classify it as evil. That judgment is case dependent, tied to how it'll be used/misused. After all, radiation therapy is an adjunct for treating cancers, as opposed to thermonuclear weapons.
Agreed, almost all technological achievements represent a two sided coin. Good vs. Evil.
I don' think you should be installing both Groupy1 and Groupy2 at the same time. This may be your issue. Try uninstalling both and maybe even run the purge. http://sd.stardock.com/Support/uploads/groupyPurge.zip Then install only Groupy2. Try these steps and report back.

Exactly! I have used Copilot a couple of times instead of searching for information on the web. I also had it write a professional letter once, which I must say, saved me hours of searching online. However, I'm not about to pay $20 a month so Copilot can provide limited help in Microsoft 365 (Office 365). I have been running 32GB of RAM for some time now, which seems to be the sweet spot for creators. Unfortunately, I believe AI, i.e. Copilot, is here to stay whether w

Try this: Restart your computer. Now open Task Manger and click Services in the left panel. Scroll down the list to Start11 and check the Status. It should say running. If it says stopped, right click Start11 in this list an select Open Services. Now scroll down to Stardock Start11 and check the Startup Type. It should say Aut

You can accomplish this with the Windows 10 style, which allows you to set the Group widths. You can make it look pretty much like the Windows 11 style using the Advanced options. Turn off "Show app list in start menu," and turn on "Use Windows 11 menu style icons." Set the Group widths to say 6 small icons. Now set up a few of your groups, then grab the right side of the menu and drag until a group jumps over to the right side. You now have one menu with two columns of groups, 6 smal
This setting will sync all your Windows 11 pins to Start11v2. You have to sign out and then back in for it to take effect. Also, you can post screenshots directly in your post using the Add Image tool.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking for here. If you asking to change the icons of pinned items on the taskbar, there are several options available with Start11v2. If it is a folder, you can change the folder icon in it's original location. When it is pinned to the taskbar, the icon you selected will be used. If you use Start11v2 to pin the folder to the taskbar before changing its icon, once it's pinned you can right click it, and then right click the folder name
You can also prevent most of them from showing via the Windows setting: Personalization -> Start -> Folders Hiding them this way would make them easier to restore if you change you mind later.
The OP is using Start11v2. Your recommendation is for turning these on/off in the native Windows 11 Start menu only.
You can delete these in the Start menu>Configuration>Shortcuts list (depending on your menu style). Just select each, one at a time, and click delete. Not sure if you can delete the User or Power buttons.
Set the transparency to 90%. This setting is the opposite of the Start menu and taskbar.
I was able to get my Personal folder and a Custom location folder to work, but Documents folder, Pictures folder, and others don't work.
Start11v2 is very customizable. It will take you some time exploring all the available features to find the setup you would like. With the windows 10 style, you can set the column width by right clicking the Start menu and selecting "Group widths." You can also show or hide the "All Apps" section using a setting in the "Advanced settings."
It looks like you can't go beyond the first level of folders in this style.
