I have a question regarding Windows 11 Transparency Effects. If I turn off Transparency Effects in the Windows 11 settings, the Start11v2 start menu loses transparency, but the taskbar only loses the Blur effect. The taskbar continues to be transparent although the blur effect does not work. I am not using the Enhanced taskbar, so why does the Windows 11 Transparency Effects disable the the Start11v2 start menu transparency and not the taskbar? Not a big issue, just

I don't believe this is a feature of any Stardock app. It's possible your computer came with a control app from the manufacturer. I know HP comes with "Command Center," and ASUS comes with "MYASUS." Check to see if this could be the cause and report back on your findings.

If the entire screen is flickering, it is most likely a graphic driver issue. Try updating your graphics driver to the latest version available.

You could try a free app called Microsoft PowerToys (available in the Microsoft Store). It has a module called "Keyboard Manager" and one of the options is to remap a shortcut to another shortcut, with an option to specify a specific app. So, you could remap the Groupy shortcut for tab switching to any shortcut(s) you like and specify it to work only with WORD. I think this could solve your problem. The only thing I'm not sure about is how this would work with Groupy. You might have to specif

Start11v2 is a major upgrade to Start11 and well worth the money if you use your start menu extensively. I have over 200 shortcuts on one page in Start11v2 thanks to a new feature called TABS. See below.

Sorry, you are correct. I think they are mimicking the Windows 8 full-screen start menu. The best you are going to be able to do is drag the top and sides out as far as they will go in the non-full screen mode.
It seems that I can't pin files to pinned icons on the taskbar. For instance, I have Microsoft Word pinned to my taskbar, and I wanted to pin a Microsoft Word document to it. Unfortunately, it seems that I can't pin said document to the Microsoft Word icon in the taskbar.
Open the Word document that you want to pin and then close it. Now, right click Word on your taskbar and in the Recent list highlight the Wo

FYI I opened Outlook from ObjectDock this morning and have left it open all morning. Periodically checking the Task Manager, Outlook is shown as a child process of ObkjectDock and then later in its own process, and then again later as a child process of ObjectDock. There was also the time, shown above, where Artificial Inteligence (AI) Host was also shown as a child process of ObjectDock. Something weird is going on here.

This still seems to be an issue for me. I'm not sure if apps are actually opening as a child process of ObjectDock, or if Task Manager is interpreting something in a non-standard way from ObjectDock. An example from this morning is that I opened Outlook from the ObjectDock and Task Manager showed it running in its own process. I opened Task Manager a few minutes later, and Outlook was shown as a child process of ObjeckDock. Windows 11 Pro - 22635.3566; ObjectDock 3 - 3.0.1.4

This would be a good reason to try Copilot. Give it a try using this "when setting dark mode in windows 10 win32 apps like task manager, control panel ,properties file transfer etc. are not in dark mode, because they are old legacy programs.
