Windows 10 - 19045.2965 / Groupy 2 With "Place tabs above" selected / "Add background bar to the tabs" turned off / and "Show accent color on Title bars and window borders" checked in the Windows 10 Color settings, the text in the tabs is black. There needs to be a check by Groupy 2 of what the Accent color is so it can determine if the text should be black or white. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/ab331062-72d0-41aa-8ead-1fb9ec70d02a.png" alt="" width="
- Is there any way when using Windows 10 Style to have the start menu remember position? If I scroll down to S and open an app, the next time I open the start menu I have to scroll all the way down again.
I mean no disrespect, but in case you are not aware, the All Apps list has a built-in rolodex. You can click on any "Letter" in the All Apps list and then click the alphabet letter to go straight to that group without scrolling.
If you're running Smart Security Premium, perhaps you can make a change in the settings in the Host-based Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) – Advanced setup.
Take a look at this thread concerning ESET. Read through all the posts in the thread. https://forums.stardock.com/515653/suggestion-to-staff-for-eset-av Evidently, this has been an issue for over a decade with ESET. From what I understand, there is nothing Stardock can do to remedy this issue. I haven't seen any other AV issues reported other than ESET. I personally run Trend Micro and hav
Try adding "Start11 Setup" to the exceptions list in ESET.
I have said this before, but I think it bears repeating here. " Stardock is a very conscientious software developer that provides some of the best customer support in the industry." If you don't think so, think back to the last time you had this kind of support for another product you use. That being said, I have a hard time understanding how some members of this forum find it necessary to verbally abuse the Stardock Support staff, at t
This is a strange one for sure. The fact that Paul could not reproduce this on the same versions on Windows 11 and Outlook is also very strange. Hopefully Paul will check it again with "Enhance taskbar" turned on and see if he gets the same result as you. In an unrelated issue with Groupy which causes Excel to be unable to change printers even when Excel is in the "Application Exclusion" list. If Groupy is turned off, Excel works as expected. This is something that Groupy should "have nothing
Disable any Outlook add-ins you're using and see if that makes any difference.
Your screenshots are of the Windows 10 Style!
Set the start menu color to black which will give you white text and then adjust the transparency to the percentage which gives you the look you are wanting. Probably 80 to 85% will work.
Neither Windows 11 nor Start11 offer the Taskbar Toolbar feature. There are however, some third party apps which create a Taskbar toolbar in Windows 11. No disrespect, but isn't that what the start menu is for. You can create those same groups in the Start11 menu -- assuming you use the windows 10 or Windows 11 Styles -- and access them with fewer clicks than with a taskbar toolbar. Just sayin'.
If you're using the Windows 10 Style, go to the "Configure Menu" page in the settings and turn on "Use full screen menu."
Try this: 1) Go to the Windows 11 Desktop Icon Settings and untick Recycle Bin. This will remove the Recycle Bin from your Desktop. 2) Now go to the Desktop Folder and right click the Recycle Bin and choose Pin to Start. If you have "Synchronize pinned items from the OS menu with Start11" turned on, skip steps 3 and 4. 3) Next go to C:\Users\"your User Name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs <
As a work-around for now, you could deactivate the Windows Keys using the PowerToys Keyboard Manager.
Those all need to be there for Start11 to work properly. If you look in the Registry, the Start11 entries are all under Start8. I believe this has been done to save programming steps by the developer.
If you Exit CursorFX, does the standard Windows cursor exhibit this same behavior?
