The suggestions did not work for me... using WebRoot, but cannot uninstall it by company policy. What's weird 1) Only happens when I'm typing on the remote PC and Chrome is in the foreground. 2) Mouse still works on both PCs 3) spacebar and : key work on remote PC. I thinl something in Chrome is capturing the focus and MP doesnt know how to handle.

Currently using two Win10 PCs, secondary PC keyboard input frequently stops. Mouse works fine,.. Moving mouse back to primary and then back to secondary appears to fix it. Seems more prevalent when Chrome is loaded and has focus on primary PC.
