Hi, after several days of research and testing, i have additional information. As information for you, we are using wxWidgets. As "GetOpenFileName" is superseeded (see: https://msdn.microsoft.com/de-de/library/windows/desktop/ms646927(v=vs.85).aspx), i tested the same setup with Common Item Dialogs (IFileDialog etc) as recommended by Microsoft. This did not help, same issue, the dialog is not shown. Whats actually did help was changing the call to Ux
