Hello, the purge suggested didn't work, as I quoted above. Actually I tried to compare user profiles, but registry keys fot Stardock seems to be the same. The key is to completely clear Start11 settings, and perhaps Old Windows Engine Search settings (can it be the problem? I only tried to regenerate index) Thanks Andrea

Good day, I'm using "old Start10 search" because I need to index and search, directly from the start menu, using the old Windows engine. That because it's the only way to search directly in windows libraries, from start menu: actually my libraries have folders mapped to network paths. That's the main reason I bought Start11. Using new default Win11 search engine, network paths are not supported at all, even using libraries, due to MS choice. Actually I'm using MS

No, indexing service is working properly. Please tell me how can I completely remove and reinstall Start11, especially installation traces in user profile, without recreating it. Thanks Andrea

Hi, I have a PC shared by three users, each with their own login profile. Randomly, the profiles stop working with the search function (old Windows 10), meaning they don't find any results. To get the feature back, I have to delete the user profile from c:\users\ and recreate it. However, this isn't convenient because I have to reset the entire user profile. I've tried - uninstalling Start11, restart, reinstalling it, restart - rebuilding the Windows index

Good day, I'm reporting an issue found in previous versions too. Actually, when using search and typing chars, files aren't found if "old style win10 search" (small icons) trigger is not activated. See pictures. I have multiple installation with the same issue. In example below, I'm searching for pwd.xls file, wich is found only in legacy (small icons) search mode. Actually folder redirection with mapped drives is deprecated from Microsoft. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/networking/cannot-redirect-folder-use-drive-map-letter Folder redirection should use unc path. In my scenario, I found that using ip rather than username worked better, until 1.25 version. Is there

Good day, I recently bought 2x 5 pack licenses of Start11 software. I’ve chosen this one becase it was the only way I found on the market to actually use start search functionality for network redirected folder. <p style="margin: 0.75rem 0px 0px; padding: 0px; f

Noted this search issue starting from 1.24 Start11. When activating Old Classic Start 10 Search (from main menu, Search tab), documents and files are correctly found when typing characters, when using the new start 11 search, no user files are found while typing. I've tried rebuilding Windows search index, removing (purging) and reinstalling Start 11, no luck. Please bring back Search Function, the main reason I bought Start 11! Windows 10 21H2 build 19044
