Only if fences are unlocked can I double click them to roll them up or down. If locked, I can only roll them up using ah a menus selection.
I think the "bug" is that Fences doesn't count a newly download items that get automatically added to a fence as "added to fence" (with respect to "date added to fence"). So users should avoid sorting by "date added to fence" (since a bug causes this not to work for all items added to the fence) and should instead sort by something like "date modified").
If F5 were to work, that would be manual updating, not automatic updating.
Yes, I could that. But Fences is supposed to sort it automatically, without me having to to use an F5, manual refresh workaround.
For a fence configured to be the default location for new icons, sorting by 'date added to fence' doesn't work consistently. I have a folder set to Date Added To Fence, Reverse Order, Maintain Sorting. Yet, new icons added to that fence don't retain the specified sorting order. [Windows 7]
Yep. Folder portal (in Fences 3.0.8.1) do not update / refresh consistently for me. The problem occurs on different computers running different versions of Windows (7 and 10). Usually, the portal for the downloads folder does not automatically update when new items are downloaded (though it sometimes does automatically update).
