Disabling the start10 service only stops it once it's started, no?

I have Windows FX, Start10, and ShadowFX on a windows 10 system with the Makers update (that I cant uninstall). I'd like to stop Stardock's enhancements from starting up, without uninstalling. I looked in the Windows 10 Task Manager under start-up, but I dont see any of these items in there, and I can not see any options in the actual Stardock applications themselves to disable automatic startup when windows starts. Anyone able to shed light on the matter? cheer
