Many thanks for your quick response. I've stopped syncing desktop with OneDrive and tried restoring a Fences snapshot, without success. I'm now in the process of repopulating the Fences with icons- tedious, but effective. Ed
Windows 10; HP Envy 360; Fences 3 Was trying to sync all folders to OneDrive and all icons disappeared from all the fences on my computer desktop. Still have a Desktop folder with all icons, but would prefer not to start from scratch repopulating fences if there is a shorter way. Thx.
AzDude, I did what you recommended. (I'm not the brightest star in the computer heavens, so it took me a long time to uninstall and restore). No change in my ability to move icons where I want them within the fences. I can move them up, but not down - so I guess that is some improvement. Not sure if "the juice is worth the squeeze" at this point, but I do appreciate your help.
AzDude, If I do that, what happens to all the desktop icons, currently in fences?
When I add a new icon or link to my desktop and then try to place it in a fence, it goes wherever it chooses. Any effort to move it to the space I want it e.g. group like topics together (specific Airlines) within a more general fence (Travel) is met with resistance. The lock feature is off. Any other ideas?
