I've been using Fences 3 for a while now and I haven't had any problems with it, but I recently played a game that forced my resolution to change and I immediately noticed that all my application shortcuts were shuffled around in different places, I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the resolution change because if I manually change my resolution, Fences will automatically adjust the fence size, but when I change my resolution back to the original resolution it automatically adjusts once again
