My Windows 10 version is 1909 Fences 2.13
Thanks very much for your further help. My Windows 10 is set to auto-updates, so I assume I have the latest version? How do I find out which version of Fences I have? Can you explain how to update my snapshot?
If I do this purge, will I lose all my existing links and shortcuts on the Desktop?
I have unticked "Lock fences". I can move the other, problem-free fences, but not the superimposed ones. When I hover over the title bar of these no X nor other symbol appears.
Somehow I have a situation in which individual fences are sitting on top of, ( ie, in the space belonging to) another, larger space - these superimposed fences cannot be moved. How can I correct this by moving them out on to their own spaces ? Thanks for any help - Mac
Correction - not clicking on, just hovering over with mouse
How do I delete an individual fence when clicking on the title bar of the one I am trying to delete does not bring up an X in the top RH corner?
Thanks The X is white, not red, and when I clicked on it I got the message "Remove this folder portal". I then clicked on this message and - result! - the fence disappeared. I'm very grateful for your help in sorting this out. Mac
How do I get rid of a fence? I have an empty fence which did ontain a shortcut to a file which no longer exists. Any help would be appreciated.
