Thanks for your quick response, it's appreciated. Your suggestions doesn't apply to v4 trial. I did get it to work with v3 and I'll avoid upgrading to v4 to save the time hassle. I get the desire for the activation server (to avoid piracy) but honestly, do pirates really risk getting infected to save $10? Hope you have a good and save new year. Alfred

Did a clean install of my windows 10 for Christmas and when installing Fences 4 trial (I have a Fences 3 license) I run into "Unable to connect to Activation server". Already tried turn internet connection on and off (it was a suggested in a forum post), turn off my firewall, disabling the host file. Nothing. Worst yet, my firewall doesn't show an attempt. Hate the forced online activation system. Maybe great for you guys, terrible for your customers. What can
