Sometimes fences & individual Icon backgrounds will turn & stay black (different than my desktop background)

I think that I isolated this problem to happening after the computer has been in sleep mode. If I unroll fence temporarily SOMETIMES the background will change color to black. If I move cursor across icon without clicking SOMETIMES the background will change color to black. The background SOMETIMES later changes returns to the normal background with normal operation of clicking icons etc. I am running Fences 3.03 and Win 10. </
