I have to assume that somewhere within appData folder or Fences install Dir that there must be a file that contains the position of icons, a simple copy/paste of a backup file would do the job.

1. This exactly the case, it was putting all new icons under my Gaming fence, but I never set fences to do this, it just made the change on its own. 2. I have one other non-related issue, and I'm not sure if there is a fix or setting for this, I have (4) fences, one of them organizes alphabetically, the other (3) are set to nothing, I like arranging them in my own order. The problem comes whenever explorer crashes, they get scramble, or sometimes when I restart or shutdown my PC, on d

I don't have a second desktop for windows, and I don't have pages activated in fences. I only have (18) icons on my desktop, a few shortcuts for apps, folders, or simple text docs. Now when I create any new text docs or folders, they physically don't show on my desktop, yet you can see then in the windows desktop folder. Win 11 with latest updates, Fences 5.89 rev 3.

I've had this long-time issue, it doesn't happen very often, it was there in Fences 4 and also 5. 1. O create a new folder or text doc on my desktop, then do a drag and drop into one of my (4) fences. 2. Before I even get to one of the fences, I will lose the file or a shortcut for a file. One of (3) things happens... A. All the icons on my desktop disappear, but I can access any of my fences (rolled Up), restarting explorer does nothing. &n

Before you reply, no, it's not disappearing from a double-click on the desktop. 1. I'll just be surfing the net, and come back to my desktop, and none of my fences are visible. I have a few icons on the left of my open desktop, and they are gone also. Double clicking does nothing, and if I use the LMB to drag on my desktop, it will ask if I want to create a new fence, basically telling me Fences is still running, yet nothing shows in the task manager or services. 2.
