What version of Fences are you using? I would suggest purging and reinstalling. https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

It is not supported. Only Simplified Chinese is.

Fences only supports Simplified Chinese at this time, and Fences is designed to use whatever your system language is set to.

Try purging and reinstalling. Disable any AV software you might be using. https://forums.stardock.com/486023/WindowBlinds-Support-FAQ#reinstalling

Fences is not in German at this time.
