I bought the object desktop package a year or so ago and it has since expired. Everyday Fences wants to update, but it fails (I think my IT blocks the updater or something). Object Desktop Manager does not see fences as installed. My download account only shows desktopmanager and not fences so I can't download the fences update. Can you please post direct links with the updates? Thanks!
Everyday I get a "an update is available" but when I click OK it says 0/11.6MB but never actually downloads or updates. I tried this at home and at work so I don't think it's a network issue on my end. My Fences license did expire so if that's the issue - can I get it to stop asking to update if I'm not eligible for the update? I'm on Fences 3.01.

When I said close I meant minimize. :) Some programs do not work that way, for example, even in word if I have multiple word documents open clicking on the taskbar does not quick minimize, even clicking on one of the quick view windows will not close it for me (unless I have something weird set in windows that is dissalowing this). Fences do roll down, on my old laptop it was very finicky to get it to work (I had to play with the exact position the fence was or it would just roll up) but on my new one it works like a champ. You can't roll left / right at this time that I'm aware of. I have another feature request for the roll up / roll down behavior. Since I often have windows open where the roll up / roll down happens I'd like a checkbox to force fences to the top so I dont' have to move / close
I want to follow up on my other issue - fences rolling down. I recently got a new laptop and installed fences and now rolling down works flawlessly - must have been a weird issue with my old computer. Very happy customer now!
Hey Fences 3.0 comes out and fixes the Arrow going missing problem. Thumbs up on that now.
So.. take it the answer is that's just the way it works? Seems odd that the navigation arrow would disappear like that in favor of folder title. I still can't figure out how to roll down. [e digicons]:([/e]
Hi, recent Fences convert and I'm having an issue with the way you navigate folder portals. The way I set up my portals is across the top of my display I have 6 Fences / Portals that I have setup. The issue comes when I navigate to sub folders, some of the folders have very long names and the little up arrow on the folder bar dissapears so I get stuck at a lower folder level and the only way I can figure out hwo to navigate back to the top is to disable navigation then enable it.
