What do you mean, "contact support"? That's what I'm doing. How to I get the purge tool?
Running Fences 3.01 on Win 7 with dual display For some reason, I am not able to create new fences. Drawing a rectangle on the screen doesn't "stick" and ask me what type of fence I want. I un-installed Fences , did a registry check, and then re-installed. I have the same problem. My OLD fence definitions are still in place, so I know I did not COMPLETELY remove Fences so I can do a complete fresh install. How can I completely un-in
I just downloaded 3.1 and the behavior is now as you describe. The up arrow does do a 'back'. Is this configurable? This is not well thought-out. If you click on a folder, and the folder contains a large number of sub-folders, you can't see the entire folder list without going through the painful "fence-scrolling" process with the skinny sliding bar THAT DOES NOT WORK!
I wish that were true, but it's not. Pressing that arrow rolls-up the fence so all I see is the title bar. It's not a 'back' button.
I just updated to 3.0. and need help. In version 2.x, clicking on a folder in a Folder Fence brought up the folder contents (hierarchy) in the traditional Windows format. Now, it opens up the folder contents in the same fence. That would be all right, except there is no "back" button, to get back to the top of the original hierarchy. That's a killer for me. What did I miss?
It would be super-nice if a user could select multiple Fences at one time when adjusting the background style and color settings. This is handy if several fences are related in purpose, such as a color for PERSONAL fences, another color for WORK related fences, etc. etc. Today, you have to set the colors on each individual fence, and HOPE you can match the transparency, Intensity, tint, and saturation. FENCES is something I've been
Gotta be a bug. I can right-click and NEW->FOLDER, which it does, naming it "New Folder". It leaves the "New Folder" highlighted, but does not allow the user to change the name. Only solution is to go back to standard windows interface and rename it there. Clunky!
