After winning my first GCIII game - a very long research victory, I was very disappointed that I did not get a metaverse entry. It was a legit game - no cheating, no mods - vanilla. I eventually found the obscure search feature (how about labelling it "search" instead of "more".) I checked under "taq" as well as an alternate name I might have been using "teakyu". I have an near end game save to resubmit. Any suggestion?
Oh - that's better. Previously you had to start as a Metaverse game which I occasional forget.
How do you join Metaverse. I don't see any way to do this as before in GCII.
I'm played GCII a while ago. Now I just started at GCIII. I can't seem to find the planet list especially for uncolonized ones . Is it still available?
With GC - DL after struggling for days to regain the metaverse access, upon completing a game I now crash during the post to metaverse.

Finallly, that did the trick! The sig.bin was in the C:\document... directory. Why game files get scattered all over the place is beside me - let alone that tech support seems unaware of all the places that the files could hide on a vanilla Window 7 system.

My problem appears to be the I do not have a sig.bin file under twilight - only under Galciv2. I extract to that twilight directory but the metaverse still fails. How are you re-entering the registration? I don't seem to have that opportunity.

I also updated TA on Impulse and still have the Metaverse problem. No response even after I provided my ticket number as requested back at reply 10.

I tried the Rosco_P recommendation and could not get it to work. The only sig.bin file is located under the GalCiv2 folder which I dutifully deleted. I do not have a gc2ul folder. Under Impulse reactivate for Twilight a get message to delete sig.bin under C:\Program Files\Stardock|Twilight. I don't have that structure - I have: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\GalCiv2\Twilight and there is no sig.bin file there. I still get the missing serial number issue

One city - the Capital has 300 population and -35 citizens, another city has 57 population, -20 citizens and all the other cities has 0 population and some negative number of citizens. I played MoM constantly in the mid 90s. The AI was simplistic of course but I usually played on it on the impossible settings and I viewed the game as me versus a completely different kind of opponent not a erstatz human. Arrgh - I loaded the latest update and now Elemental freezes immediately after starting a new game. The graphics go bad, the mouse and keyboard are frozen and I am forced to unplug my machine to reboot. As I killed my computer I don't have a dump file. My display drivers are up-to-date. ("Update your drivers" is the last gasp of the desperate support person.) Following the suggestion of John Hughes I did a full uninstall and re-install. (Though I didn't mess with my registry.) I still get crashes. I even tried reloading the save game above and it crashed after a few more turns. Obviously from all the other crash reports, Elemental is still missing a certain robustness and stability. I'm hoping that this is resolved shortly as I'm really looking forward to this game.

Once again I get the crash to desktop in the middle of a game and right after hitting the turn button. A troll is again near my sov.
I have had numerous crashes to desktop usually 10 to 50 turns into the game. Possibly I have a character next to a troll. debug

[.25][crash] I also crashed at "welcome brave adventurers" screen several times. While trying to start Elemental with IE open to this form I get a blinking black screen with a "failed to initialize display" message. All previous Elemental updates worked ok.
