The debug.err file doesn't show the fault, I'm sorry to report. The video card crashes, black screen, no debug.err file is created.

Since the update to 1.01, I can play a few minutes and then my video card crashes. It goes to a black screen and the computer needs a hard boot to recover. I have an NVidea GeForce 9800 GX2, running on Windows XP SP3.

I loaded version 1.01 last night. The good news: The game no longer runs as though my CPU is mired in mud. The bad news: Every 10 or 12 minutes I get a hard crash, black screen, and need to do a hard reboot of my computer. More bad news: It's no longer possible to build anything but basic buildings. So if I establish a town next to fertile ground, the farm is not available. If I establish a town next to iron ore, an iron mine is not available.
