Just opened up Object Desktop Manager today to notice that there is no button on Start 11 either to update, install, etc, it's just a blank space. Do I need to uninstall Object Desktop Manager, and then reinstall all the apps I have previously installed, such as Cursor XP, Iconmanager etc, to get the button showing up again?.
No basj, I didn't know. I thought start 10 was for Win 10 and 11 was for Win 11, I guess we learn something new everyday.
Because I'm running Windows 10 and not Windows 11. Not released here in Australia yet, at least not on my system
ok did all of that and Start 10 seems to be working ok, but by doing it that way it's not showing up in Object Desktop Manager so how do I now go about any updates for start 10?.
Just did a fresh install of Windows 10 and installed Object Desktop manager, then installed Start 10, but now it keeps saying that there is an update for Start 10, the thing is it's always trying to update Start 10 from v1.9.7 to 1.9.7. It goes through the download and installs but as soon as it supposedly finishes it says it needs a reboot to finish but has an update already to go again. I then reboot but the same update is listed to be installed it's an endless loop of updating
running Deskcapes 10.03, how do we get to the menu you've show to make a playlist, because my settings page is nothing like what you've shown. Ok just downloaded the beta version set up a playlist, as shown, added the folder with all my jpg's in it and applied it to all monitors, but the wallpaper that has come up on screen is not in my play list. Sorry about all the noobness, so how do I get my play list to be applied.
How do you run Deskscapes as a slide show so that it changes the photo daily or is there no option for that?.
Does DeskScapes work like a normal wallpaper changer, by that I mean I don't have any animated wallpapers just normal jpg stills, or do I need to convert or download animated photos for it work properly.
I have fences installed, and when I install WindowBlinds, then right click on any shortcut inside Fences they are blank and only show when you hover the cursor over them. As soon as I uninstall WindowBlinds and then right click on the icons, the text them becomes visible. So until I can sort out what's going on WindowBlinds will have to be a no-no. any help is greatly appreciated.
Just had to reset my PC because of some issues, now since I've installed Fences I can't stop the rubbish bin from being hidden when I double click on the desktop. If I right click the Rubbish bin icon on the desktop there's no option to exclude the bin from being hidden on double click. Am I missing something or has there been a change with this behaviour.

My Object Desktop Manager is doing the same thing, current version is 4.01. Once a day at least without fail it'll open itself up as if it's doing and update whilst actually not doing any update at all.
I've had this issue before as well but it was primarily happening with the Steam menu, but sometimes with other things as well, and haven't used cursor fx since.

With the new SoundPackager Beta can you install previous SoundPackager sounds from previous versions of SoundPackager, and if so how I couldn't find a setting to add packages from off my PC.
I have this issue, not sure if it's a problem or just part of Tiles, but when I double click on the tiles bar (which is docked on the right) it hides Tiles, is this supposed to happen or could there be some underlying issue that's causing this.
When Tiles starts up it always starts on the apps page of Tiles, is there any way that we can select what Tiles page we want it to open up on?.
Tiles can be hidden when not in use (not sure if that's the same thing as what fences does), isn't the separate tiles pages (where you slide them from left to right or vice versa) the same thing. So I'm sort of guessing that it's what neone6 says that it is really only one personal preference. I was asking because I really wanted to find out the differences and more importantly which one was actually the best one to use.
Sorry if this seems to be a dumb question, but what is the difference between the 2 programs?. From what I see they basically do the same thing, only one keeps the icons on the desktop where the other has them running down the side (or wherever you decide to dock them). Is there any preference for one over the other. I run Tiles, but as asked is one better than the other, or is it really only ones preference as to which one to use.
I had IconPackager installed on Win10 and the only issue I had was when it was uninstalled, the icons in the system tray and explorer were a bit odd. All I did to fix it was to go into regedit HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shellex and delete the Iconhandler folder rebooted and all icons were back to normal. Had no other issues, might have been extremely lucky.
As title says Windowblinds is not showing up in the OD manager, possibly because I installed directly from the file and not through the OD manager, simply because I didn't want to install WB into Program Files (seem to have issues when it's installed there). Is there any way that WB can be updated if it's not showing in the OD manager?.
Well then is Icon Packager going to be made compatible with Windows 10, or will it no longer be made available and compatible with Windows 10. Definitely miss having it.
According to Fences it's 2.91, Fences is enabled, still can't create a new fence. Might have to uninstall and remove all references to Fences in the registry (again) to see if that will work, didn't last time but will try again.
Another happy Fences user here, never had an issue with it, also love the roll up feature.
