I got to wondering about this again, what with all the major problems that Win11 patches are causing. (The boiling pot is finally getting too hot for me.) But I have some applications that I might still need a Windows machine for, so I was hoping to be able to use Multiplicity to connect from a main Linux box to a Windows box. Back on September 21st, Stardock announced that M4 is available on Steam. Steam runs on Linux, and it uses Proton to run games. I haven't tested this yet, but I

So, I know I can click the button in the upper right to go from fullscreen to windowed and then minimize the windowed Multiplicity, but is there a way to do that in one click, straight from fullscreen mode? I know I can click the X in the center-right of the Multiplicity bar, but that disconnects from the Secondary entirely rather than just minimizing.

Had my secondary open in KVM mode for almost six hours now, no message popping up about a license key. Maybe it was just one of those weird glitches. Thanks for jumping in an asking questions to help me out. I appreciate it.

I've rebooted my laptop (the Secondary PC) to see if there was just some kind of minor glitch. I'll report back in a bit (or maybe sooner).

(These are two separate, individually-moveable windows. The Multiplicity window can be minimized, but the activation window is staying on top of everything else. For ease of screenshotting, I moved it on top of the Multiplicity window.) The initial message is no longer there, as you can see. I presumed that I needed to enter my initial license key, and of course that failed

sdRohan: Confirmed, the switch is in the Secondary position on the Secondary PC. On both Primary and Secondary, it was installed by the .exe file downloaded from the email with my license code. (Each machine downloaded its own .exe file.)

Just bought Multiplicity today, and the setup went smoothly. Got my desktop set as primary, (product key entered properly on my desktop), and my laptop set up as a secondary. After about an hour or so, a message came up on my secondary saying no product key was found. I thought secondary PCs did not need a license. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
What happens when you attempt to move an icon? Do you see the no symbol (circle with line through it)?
That's correct. When I try to move an icon, I see the "no" symbol (circle with a line through it).

I'm having the same issue, but I'm running version 2.13. According to the page you linked, Gargabee, that is the latest version. Any other suggestions? I'm also running Windows 8.1.
