Yes Recent Documents is what shows up in Start11 and then goes away when I turn off Show Recomendations in Windows, but does not reappear when I turn Show Recomendations back on. Tested that twice. Thanks very much for testing it Basj. Your results would tend to point to some other setting(s) I have probably turned off or disallowed. I do use ShutUp11 to disable quite a few things in Windows. I may play around with that since you can export ShutUp11 settings and then reimport

[quote who="pelaird" reply="85" id="3916621"] Quoting Neil Banfield, reply 84 Right now I cannot reproduce this here, dragging on the top row is working perfectly which makes me think there is some setting involved thats causing it to show the issue. Neil, I have never been able to reproduce this either. See reply #
Two issues that I previously reported still appear to be present in beta 1.01. Using the Start11 Win11 Start Menu: 1) Right clicking on some pinned apps and selecting (More/Run as administrator) will pop up an error. For example, doing this on the standard Win11 app, Defragment and Optimize Drives, will pop up the error. Interesting that
In the Start11 Win11 style menu if you create more than 2 pages and use the mouse horizontal scroll it jumps 2 pages instead of 1. Example: Have 4 pages, start on page 1, click the horizonal scroll wheel to move one page over, it jumps over 2 pages. So goes from page 1 to page 3 instead of page 2. I played around with the Accelerated Vertical Scrolling and Horizontal Scrolling setting in the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center but none of them changed the effect.</p
Getting this error pop up on several Start11 pinned apps (using Win11 style menu) when I right click, select More, and select Run as Administrator. If I left click on the Start11 pinned app it runs fine. This is happening on several pinned apps. I have tried unpinning the apps and then re-pinning them and restarting the PC. The issue does not occur in the Win11 start menu. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/64/83/6483107/9eb9a21c-dc30-4356-b551-7a72f007966a.png" alt=""
Still seems to be some disconnect between Start11 and Win11 on recently installed apps. Tried several different things to clear them from the Start11 menu but they still show New on two of them. Oddly Start11 is no longer showing New after much flipping back and forth between Start11 and Win11 and running the apps from the All Apps menus. Nothing I have tried has cleared the "New" from the Intel and Thunderbird below in the All Apps menu in Start11. The New does not appear in
I agree that the little lines are difficult to click on to change pages, especially if you are in a hurry. While that would be nice to be able to use Ctrl-arrow to move between the pages I usually am accessing the Start menu with a mouse. I don't really care for processes where I have to switch from the mouse to the keyboard and then back to the mouse just to click an icon to launch an app. Would like to see something better (bigger) than the little page lines that
Installation of Microsoft Store App Suite did not create Folder in Start11 Menu - All Apps Installation of the new Sysinternals Suite from the Microsoft Store created a Sysinternals Suite folder in the Microsoft Start Menu - All Files under S so that all of the individual app links were grouped together. Snip showing the folder and just the A app links: Bu
I just installed RC2 and all 11 items that I had reported appear to be fixed. Great Job Stardock! Thanks for so quickly addressing mine and others issues. If only MS would be so attentive...
Cannot run Windows store apps like PowerShell as Administrator with Right Click Menu. When you right click on the windows store PowerShell (7.1.4) icon in Start11 you do not get the More option in the menu or the run as Administrator option. This works correctly in the Windows 11 Start Menu. Paint which is now a store app also does not have the option to run as Administrator in the Start11 right click menu but does have the option in the Windows 11 start menu. This is
Windows 11 Style Start Menu only (have not looked at the other styles): o Center Start Button - The Windows 11 Style is completely unusable with it centered. The MS Windows 11 start menu will pop up from time to time and when it does you can slowly double click on the start button and it will alternate between the MS menu and the Start11 menu. If the Start11 windows menu is working and you restart Explorer then the MS start menu will become the default. Seems to not be a problem with
