I like Nano Disassemblers. But they should be modified to do 50% damage to cap ships. I think that would be a good change, it would still be deadly in combination with a fleet, but it wouldn't be so powerful in 1v1. As is, it's just pure evil. The way it works on frigates is fine. 75 antimater to kill one frigate is ok with me. It can't kill all frigates, it wont even kill a 600 hull frigate with 600 damage because of natural repair. And to compensate for

I made an observer map long time ago. But for it to work all players had to have it downloaded. The way it worked Team 1 player and team 2 player were regualr players. everyone else would pick team 3 and they would start on an unconnected dead asteroid with no money. And the only way they could see anything was if the players on team 1 or 2 would give them a visual treaty.

I'll put all ships of one kind on same target, based on their damage bonuses. As far as Caps are concerened, I usually leave my capital ship on the enemy capital, when it looses shields, or is at 50% hull (varies on nubmer of ships in play) I will focus fire it with everything so it has no time to run away.

Zanosan that's nto always the case. I watch autorep;lays almsot excusively and they are busted. You wer ejsut lucky in your case. This si getting on my nerves. Can we have official update on this issue? It is really putting cramp on MP enjoyment!

There are certain fleet behaviors u shoudl be aware of. One thing, telling a ship to retreat that happens to be in charge of the fleet, will cause whole fleet to retreat. This is a pain. I generally tend to fleet ships of the same type.

Sounds intriguing. I have not played Entrenchment so I have no idea. But are you sure you didn't hit mines? And what level were your cap ships?

GoaFan, it is not worth the antimatter. Unless you really micro it you will most likely only do 50% of the DPS because the duration is too short. What happens is unless your ships are alreayd facing a target that willg et maliced and they had their weapon cooldown finish just as you cast malice, you will most likely get only 1 shot off during the duration of Malice. Which is terrible.

I love it when my teamates quit abruptly and I end up winning the game still... Well obviously they were terrible cause they don't understand the game, so I'm glad they didn't get the win hehehe.

Even if you made strikecraft cost resoruces, it would not make flak useful agaisnt carriers. It would still be terrible, and it would not help the topic of this thread. Topic is that flak is terrible, not that carrier is great. We have 20 carrier is great threads on the board, so take your ideas there, and stay on topic. If you nerf carriers so people don't use them as much, you have not helped flak frigates at all. As is there are 2 frigates which I am 99% sure not

I doubt anyone will clarify this for you. The way malice used to work was great. The way it works now is confusing.

It is ok in SP. In MP they need to revisit the lottery. In games where I know I can screw aroudn casue my opponents are terrible I may just do that with advent, get the reduce cost tech fast and use motehrship to research it for 20% of the price usually.

Well I can tell you that reviewers don't play games long enough to experience most problems :) This becoems quite apparent with many games. The replay problem is a new one. I remember many 1.04 replays fondly.

Replays are pretty broken in 1.12. I only got 2 replays to work out of about 100. They all become desynced and crash.

You can always buy more crystal. I liek the extraction rate techs because they seem to do rather well when you start getting fleet maintence. But I hardly ever go past 2-3 civic labs unelss its gonna be a big long game.

Some things about Vasari. The slavery tech is pretty good idea to get asap if you plan on a game that will be drawn out (any game where you go civil first basically). RA is pretty good late game. I find myself using it more and more if the game lasts really long. HC with their special ability inertia field counter carriers very well, better than subverters. Plus when combined with subverters its prettydamn leathal. I also find myself putting 3 refin

SnoopDaggo quit in a game I was in, not sure if it was a crash or what. It could have been minidump :/

Feed is when another player gives you money. If you ever played in a team game and someone slaughtered you in what looked like him vs you situation, and I mean slaughtered you like you were a cornfield and he was driving a combine, then he probably got fed by his ally.

Sova used to be the best :O But nerf come around and usually target the best :/ So the Sova standard became eccentric. I had someoen try to sova rush me, without feed it fails, I killed his sova cause I got feed from my allies, and proceeded to kill him

Ok when was the last time you magically stacked these heals? Unless you did it manually, lining up your ships ahead of time, because it's not an INSTANT heal if the ship takes 20 seconds to turn. By then your target is DEAD. Stop giving peopel messed up information. Overseer is probably the worst support ship. Subverter is hands down the best, with guardian being second best. Then Hoshiko, Subjugator and in distant last Overseer. If an overseer uses his heal ab
