OK, that was definitely not terribly well explained in the documentation. However, thank you for the greater clarity.

I'm attempting to use the desktop pages feature. However, when I try to switch to a different page (either keyboard or mouse - and yes both options are selected) it just bounces back to my "default" page. I'm unable to actually get the page to "create". BTW, I have a single monitor setup.
