After update to latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC 20.012.20048, problem resolved. The old version I used Adobe Acrobat DC v20.006.20034 may conflict with Curtains in that situation.

Yes. Use only Roman alphabet for the name without any issue. Need to note the words (已修改) are automatically filled in by Curtains Traditional Chinese language file. Please check the shadow effect disappear causes by Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Thank you.

I did the cleanboot steps but the issue still exist. I noticed that if I choose edit original style then the shadow works fine, choose edit duplicate copy all shadow disappeared and can't set shadow anymore. Additional: I found that opening the PDF file with Adobe Acrobat DC causes the shadow effect to disappear.
