I have it on my P.C. from the install, the path is: c:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galictic Civilizations\gc_quickguide.html I also thought it was an option form the start menu.

Are the benifits of starbases for that sector only or is it for your whole civilization?

3D Ships in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I read in the post mortem artical that one of the regrets was not having the ship graphics be 3d eventhough the actual ships are rendered in 3d. Are there any plans at all to show those ships in the expansion pak? Just curious.

I have been trying to submit my score, It did not show up. I found a screen at stardock that allows you to edit your profile. That screen let me change my nickname so smok-n-joe ends up on my posts but my scores still do not show up. I still have the two names on my list, one of them invalid :notsure:

I have been trying to play on normal with large maps after playing , up to normal with small maps and winning. I have been getting killed. most of the time it has benn because I cannot seem to defend against battleshps and therefore invasions soon enough. They all hate me and invade me no matter what I offer, It does not seem to matter if I am good or evil. This is with me having generally big tech points for my race ( +50). They seem to beat me tech wise no matter what! >:(

some kind of warning before an invasion rather than press the space bar to repell one. After a few hours playing I am not shre where the spacebat is anymore! :d

yes I have, there was an event that basicly said a religious sect was trying to find a precursor race and wake it in a particular alien sector. I ignored it, They found the race, woke it up and within 10 to 12 months I had no fleet! (i was the strongest miltary) The message siad that my agents on this particular planet lost a firefight there and maybe I should have spent more money on spying...This race killed off all the majors, and since it was minor I won the game anyway...whew It se

Trading strategies...per race in Strategies Stardock Forums

Is there any difference between the races as far as what they are likely to agree to when you want to trade tech or systems with them? Also, is there any indicator on the screen whether or not the race will accept the trade? Its anoying to keep re setting up the trade after they refuse.
