well the issue isn't whether or not they're worried about free speech, it's that all of the bumpkin dixie chick fans are turning the act of free speech that offends people into unpatriotism, and then using that power to get their way, with boycotting radio stations, etc, which is just silly, and if i were them i'd completely disown that group of fans, and start trying to appeal to more enlightened people ~SDC~
how about some sort of auto background diplomacy routines, because so many times a meaningless war will break out against you, and it obviously isn't going to make or break the game, but is just an annoyance that you have to wait a few turns before you can ask for peace. what if you could every turn have it automatically check that race for a peace treaty, and alert you immediately when they're willing to accept, instead of having to wait around and check for yourself, which is usually a lot lat
the ai comes up short on so many levels. one of the major selling points of this game is supposed to be the AI, yet there are many times when it acts just like a stupid program running on numbers. one example is when a race goes to war with you, and will accept NO peace treaty deal, even if you playfully enter in every solar system, tech, and piece of equipment, they still won't, which shows it's not intelligent at all, it's just going to war for the sake of war, but if these entities are so sma
i registered with the metaverse with my downloaded version, which used the drengin network serial, and had no problems submitting, but when i got my cd in the mail i chose to install from that, which required a seperate gal civ serial, and i think it's causing problems with my metaverse account, because my scores are not being added to my account which was registered with the drengin serial. i've tried registering again with my gal civ serial but that didn't work. any ideas? and sorry if this ha
